Several companies at the Borchwerf II Business Park are coordinating their imports and exports through the Mainport Rotterdam. There are also flows of goods via the transhipment terminal in the deep-sea harbor of Moerdijk 17 kilometers away. The expansion of Maasvlakte II delivers new transhipment capacity to Rotterdam for the following years.
